Well... We had this issue back in Wisconsin and almost sued the landlord as our neighbors had it and we had a common wall and ours was infected. Ended up putting a lot of research. Frankly fogging aggravates the issue (as per experts). Even the Walmart/Walgreen solutions are not much effective.
Buy Bedlam and SteriFab online. These are very effective and safe on mattresses and fabrics. They cost around 20$. Get rid of any furniture you feel might have been affected. The only thing effective is to avoid them and the other option is heat treatment which will run into $2000 bucks. I hope this information helps.

Visit the Mattress section in 'Bed Bath & Beyond' they have a whole selection of it. from personal experience it's better tho throw away the mattress & buy a new one, if you can't afford it., buy a powdered substance spray it in all nooks n corners of the mattress & buy a mattress cover which can prevent bedbugs., once you seal it., never unzip it for 2 years. good luck

Ask for a bug fogger at Walmart or Lowes. It worked well last time I had this problem.
Make sure the whole house is fogged at the same time. Use one for the living room, one each for the bedrooms. Also, noone should enter the house for 4 hours after it is fogged.
Hope this helps.
