Late Deadline to register: 12 pm (Noon), 11th (Monday) August 2008 [Late entry will be charged $5 per person per event]
Schedule will be done on : 6:30pm, 12th (Tuesday) August 2008, at East High School Tennis Courts.Please bring cash/check with you.(in favor of 'Indian Association of Columbus')

Tournament Format:
• All the categories will have initial league matches before proceeding to Quarterfinals.
• Based on number of players register, each category will be divided into specific # of groups.
• Since its a league tournament you get a chance to play against lot of players before you move into quarterfinals.
• Players will be seeded based on previous year performance (2007) which helps separate them into different groups.
• '2' New Tennis balls for each match will be provided.

Rules :
• Three set games. Tie breaker for all three sets.
• If it rains, the match will continue from where it stopped.
• If two players have same wins during the league matches, we will look at the # of sets won vs. lost. If the sets also match, we may look at the games won vs. lost.
• Each participant will be allowed to reschedule maximum of '2' times during league matches, considering they contact organizing committee 24hrs in advance (unless it is an emergency) so that Committee can reschedule those prior to the deadline. No show without any prior notice at the scheduled match time will result in an automatic win for the opponent. The score will be reported as 6-0, 6-0 in favor of the opponent present at the game venue.
• We don't have courts booked for this tournament. Committee will try to organize at East High School Tennis Courts, North High School Courts (on Home Avenue, near to 25th and Home Avenue intersection), Lincoln Park courts or Donner Park tennis courts.
• If there is a controversy and an issue is escalated, committee will take the final decision. Players should accept whatever decision is made.
• Umpires may be present from quarter final onwards, but this may not be possible all times.

This year the Independence Day celebration will be held at the Community building in the Bartholomew Fair Grounds.
Date: Saturday, August 16th, 2008
Time: From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Venue: Community Building, Bartholomew Fair Grounds. The Community Building is just opposite South Side Elementary School.
Directions:
From Downtown
Take 11-South towards Bartholomew County Fair Grounds.
Turn right at the first stop light on 200S
Turn right onto South Side Dr.
Parking lot is on the right side close to the Community Building.
From Tipton Lakes
Take Terrace Lake Dr. heading towards the Terrace Woods sub division.
